Anyone else still in shock that I am pregnant, again? :) Me, too!
Symptoms: Sleepy and hungry. That is it. I have random nausea (I think mainly because my alarm goes off at 5 and I am rushed to get ready and leave by like 6:10. Usually I feel fine after I leave the house and get to school) . I also randomly get sick but because those are both so random, I wouldn't really say that I have that as a symptom. This pregnancy has been soo different than Caleb. I was sooo sick with him that I had to take medicine. I really feel great with this pregnancy and sometimes can't even tell I am pregnant. Which I am a-okay with considering the anxiety and fear we faced just a few weeks ago. Also, with Caleb, my muscles were always sore from stretching...but not this pregnancy. I assume it is because I was literally JUST pregnant. lol. Oh goodness.
Cravings/Aversions: Well, at first I always wanted Taco Bell (yes mom...I know..how healthy..lol). I wanted crunchwraps like they were going out of style. Mike even went out and got one for me at like 9 at night. Now...I am repulsed by the idea of Taco Bell. I must have had it too much because thinking of it now sounds disgusting.
I have really been wanting B.L.Ts. Yum. Yum. Oh, and lemonade.
Apparently apple juice is an aversion. I had some the other day and got sick almost immediately. I drank it a lot with Caleb. Weird.
Appointments: Now that I am "in the clear" I only have to go to appointments every 4 weeks rather than what felt like every week. I will miss seeing my little T-rex on the ultrasound but will gladly trade that for a healthy pregnancy. My last appointment, they found the heartbeat right away and it was 155-160. I am excited for our next ultrasound (March 25)-- which is the day after my birthday. That is when we find out if Caleb is having a little brother or little sister. I feel like I am leaning towards a girl based off of the comparison of the two pregnancies, but when I picture the baby, I picture a boy. Once again, girl names are much easier for us...mainly because we still love the 2 we were considering for Caleb..but we now have a 3rd contender. I have one boy name I really like, but Mike seems indifferent. I am not nearly as pushy with this pregnancy as far as talking about it. We will figure it out all.
Other: So often I forget I am pregnant (other then when I fall asleep at 8pm on a school night....that can only be attributed to a growing fetus...right?). I blame Caleb for this. He distracts me. Which I don't mind. :)
We got another crib from my sister so now we are in the tedious process of cleaning, gutting and rearranging our front room into Calebs new bedroom. Then we will need to clean and organize calebs room for baby 2. I know we have plenty of time, but I would rather do things now...or at least start...rather than waiting last minute.
Baby size: Lemon :) (when I wrote this blog like a month ago....now its the size of an orange....but I am 15 weeks tomorrow so the fruit comparison will change again)
